Where the Liche Spawns in Delverium

The Liche discussion places it in the deeper stone-mine layer where players find iron, below the first dirt-mine layer. The developer confirms that location and adds a spawn condition: enough skeletons, armored skeletons and necromancers must be killed first. The reply does not give an exact kill threshold.

Search the deeper mines

The answer separates three areas: surface, the first dirt mines and the next stone-mine layer. Use iron ore as a reported landmark for the target layer. Searching only the first cave does not match the location described in this thread.

Check both the location and prior kills

1. Confirm that you reached the deeper stone-mine layer. Use the iron route if you are unsure what the discussion means.
2. Fight the named skeleton, armored-skeleton and necromancer enemies as you explore. The developer explicitly connects those kills to the Liche spawn condition.
3. Continue watching that layer for the Liche after making progress against those enemies. The answer describes an occasional spawn; it does not promise an immediate appearance after a fixed count.
4. For Reaper, defeat the Liche and check Steam achievement status. Finding or seeing one is not the published completion condition.

A Liche is not a Necromancer equipment drop

If your goal is Necromancer gear, use the Necromancer guide. Those enemies are mentioned in the Liche condition, but the two targets answer different player tasks. We do not turn the spawn answer into a full Liche combat strategy or guaranteed loot table.

If no Liche appears

Check the layer and enemy types first. Keep track of your observed kills and build if reporting a problem; the source does not provide a numerical counter, reset rule or timer. Do not assume that waiting on the surface or reaching an invented kill count must force the spawn.
