Untouchable Progress Stuck in Delverium?
Untouchable requires 15 enemy defeats with melee without taking damage. In the October 2 developer answer, the displayed progress keeps your best streak even after damage resets the internal streak to zero. A visible 11/15 therefore does not mean the next four kills will complete it.
Oct 2, 2026 developer answer, confirmed by the original player; no claim that every damage source or weapon interaction has been tested.
Read the number as a personal best
The developer's example explains the confusing display: reaching 11 and then taking damage leaves 11 visible, even though the active run restarted at zero. Repeating a few kills after each hit can leave that number unchanged without proving the achievement is broken.
Build a fresh uninterrupted melee streak
- Equip a melee weapon and begin counting a new streak from zero. Do not start your count from the number left on the achievement display.
- Choose an encounter where you can control distance and avoid contact. The developer suggests a longer-reach melee weapon as a useful approach; the reply does not name a mandatory item.
- Defeat enemies with melee and avoid taking damage. If you take damage, restart your own count at zero even if Steam still displays your earlier best.
- Reach 15 clean defeats and inspect the achievement. The original poster subsequently confirmed that consecutive defeats resolved the problem.
Fifteen total kills is a different task
A cumulative kill total across interrupted attempts does not satisfy the described streak. Switching to a ranged or magic strategy for safer progression also does not establish completion of an objective explicitly requiring melee.
If a clean streak still does not complete it
Record your weapon, difficulty, current build and whether any damage occurred during the sequence. The source does not establish how environmental damage, co-op kill credit or mixed attacks are counted. It supplies the reset explanation, not a guarantee for those untested edge cases.
