Import a Demo Character into Delverium Early Access
The September 15 developer announcement describes an Import Character Saves option before starting the full game for the first time, when the demo and valid demo character saves are installed on the same PC. Only characters can be imported; demo world saves are incompatible. The developer recommends a fresh character for the best Early Access experience.

Decide what you are transferring

Check the first-start conditions
- Keep the demo and its valid character saves installed on the same PC where you will launch Early Access.
- Launch the full game and inspect the options before starting a game for the first time.
- If Import Character Saves is offered, use it for the character you want to carry over, then check the character choices available afterward.
- Start a full-game world. Importing a character does not convert or bring over a demo world.
If the prompt is absent
First compare your situation with the announcement: same PC, demo installed, valid character saves and first game start. It does not document how to re-enable an import prompt after it was skipped. We do not recommend deleting settings or saves to manufacture that first-start state.
When a new character is the clearer route
The developer recommends starting fresh for the intended Early Access experience. If your priority is keeping the demo world rather than the character, the announced import does not solve that requirement. Keep the old save separate and decide whether to begin a new full-game character instead.
The community world editor handles a different file type and task. Its author does not claim to convert incompatible demo worlds or import character saves.
