Where to Find Silver Ore and Make Silver Bars in Delverium

The community Silver Ore reference says silver nodes are sometimes found in second-level dungeons. It lists 4 Silver Ore for a Silver Bar at a regular Furnace. Silver Ore being harder to find does not mean this particular bar recipe requires a Silver Furnace.

Search the correct dungeon layer

1. Reach the second dungeon level rather than continuing to clear only the first copper layer.
2. Explore for silver nodes and mine with an appropriate pick. The source does not give a universal coordinate or a guaranteed node in each room.
3. Check the collected stack for Silver Ore.
4. Gather in multiples useful to the four-ore bar recipe, then return to the crafting position.

Make the bars near a Furnace

Keep 4 Silver Ore available for each bar, stand near a Furnace and open the crafting list. The community recipe names Furnace, while Gold Bar names Silver Furnace. The metal's name and the station's name are not interchangeable requirements.

Choose a use before spending the bars

The Hardwood recipe table lists Silver Pick at 4 Hardwood + 6 Silver Bars, and Silver Axe, Hoe and Hammer at 4 Hardwood + 4 Silver Bars each, all using an Iron Anvil. Choose the tool that solves your next resource or building task instead of spending the entire supply on an unrelated upgrade.

If you find iron but no silver

The reference says silver is sometimes present on that level, not that every iron deposit contains it. Explore additional pockets without treating one unsuccessful room as proof of the wrong layer. If the ore is available but the recipe stays red, check inventory/chest availability and station proximity before looking for another mine.
