Delverium Fishing Weapons: Rusty Dagger, Rusty Trident and Lake Sword
Official v0.1.0.2 added Rusty Dagger, Rusty Trident and Lake Sword to fishing loot. The community table places Rusty Trident in ocean water, Lake Sword in rivers and ponds, and Rusty Dagger in swamps and cave water. The patch also added related upgrade recipes; the catch is the starting item, not the finished upgrade.

Choose a pool for the weapon
| Target | Water in the community table | First check |
|---|---|---|
| Rusty Trident | Ocean | Move to ocean water instead of a small inland pond. |
| Lake Sword | River or pond | Use an inland pool with the matching catch list. |
| Rusty Dagger | Swamp or cave water | Match the swamp/cave pool rather than repeatedly casting offshore. |
Use the rod and bait together
The entries change fishing weight between power 5 and 15. The Fishing Rod contributes 10 power before bait; the Fishing Pole contributes 0. Choose bait and a tool that improve the combined power, then keep fishing in the correct pool. These weights are not drop percentages, and a higher-power setup does not promise the next cast will yield a weapon.
Inspect the upgrade after the catch
- Check that the caught weapon is in your inventory rather than assuming a fish-only catch.
- Open the crafting list and inspect the relevant upgraded item. The official patch names Dagger, Fine Dagger, Trident and Regents Sword as new upgrade recipes.
- Read the recipe's actual ingredients and station in your build. The patch does not supply every ingredient quantity or establish a complete one-to-one upgrade tree.
- Keep the starting weapon until you can craft the item you want; compare its equipment description before replacing your existing loadout.
If nothing useful appears
Check that you are on v0.1.0.2 or later, that the water type matches, and that you still have bait. Ordinary catches and junk are part of the pool. Use the general fishing guide for the rod recipe and water table; do not treat a run of unlucky catches as proof of an undocumented boss prerequisite.
