Delverium Wheat: Where to Get It, Grow It and Make Bread

The community Wheat reference describes wild Wheat plants in surface biomes and growing Wheat from Wheat Seeds. Bread uses 2 Wheat at a Cookpot. Keep some planting material for the next crop and choose a recipe before spending the entire harvest.

Start with a usable wheat supply

1. Look for mature Wheat plants on the surface and harvest them with a suitable tool or melee weapon.
2. For a repeatable planted plot, till soil with a hoe and plant Wheat Seeds.
3. Watering and fertiliser are optional growth aids in the farming reference; daily watering is not a stated survival requirement for the crop.
4. Wait for maturity before harvesting. A hoe can remove immature crops, which is a different action from collecting a mature harvest.

Choose the wheat allocation

These are ingredient counts, not a ranking of healing, selling price or profit per growing minute. Choose the recipe that matches the animal produce and crops you actually have.

Make Bread near the Cookpot

Keep 2 Wheat available, stand near the placed Cookpot and use the crafting list. If Bread stays red, check the ingredient count and chest access; if it is absent, check station proximity and the current recipe list. Gathering Wheat does not automatically cook it.

Maintain the plot

The farming reference lists seeds from mature plants, chests or the Agronomist. Inspect the seed supply after each harvest instead of assuming a fixed seed return or that every crop regrows. Use the crop guide for planting/harvest problems and the chicken guide when eggs are the missing ingredient.
