Delverium Crafting Stations: Workbenches, Furnaces, Anvils and Cooking
Crafting stations expose recipes through proximity: the community reference gives a five-tile range and says upgraded stations retain predecessor recipes. Match the recipe to the workbench, furnace, anvil or cooking family before gathering more ingredients.

Choose the required family
| Family | Stations listed in the reference | Use this check |
|---|---|---|
| Workbench | Workbench → Hardwood Workbench → Deadwood Workbench | A later wood/tool recipe may require an upgraded bench. |
| Furnace | Furnace → Silver Furnace | Check the bar recipe; Gold Bar lists Silver Furnace. |
| Anvil | Stone Anvil → Iron Anvil → Obsidian Anvil | Match the equipment recipe to its named anvil. |
| Cooking | Cookpot → Stove | Basic recipes and later dishes can require different cookware. |
This table describes the reference's station families, not a command to build every station immediately. Pick the station required by the next item you actually want.
Build a usable crafting position
- Place the needed station and stand beside it.
- Open the player's crafting list rather than waiting for a separate station window.
- If the final recipe uses an intermediate bar or component, include that intermediate recipe's station too.
- Put the required materials in your inventory for the first attempt. Once that succeeds, move them into nearby storage.
Does an upgrade replace the earlier station?
The community reference says station upgrades can craft their predecessors' recipes. An upgrade within one family is useful for saving space; a furnace still does not replace an anvil or a workbench. If an old recipe disappears, first stand closer and check the family before dismantling your entire workshop.
Diagnose the symptom before rebuilding
An absent recipe suggests station or unlock checks. A visible red ingredient suggests supply checks. A blue intermediate ingredient suggests nested crafting and another station. The crafting guide explains these states, while the chest guide handles storage range and another player's open chest.
