Delverium Code Fragments: Enemy Sources, Fragment Bars and Progression Key

The community Code Fragment reference lists drops from the Critical Error Boss and occasional drops from Runtime Errors. Fragment Bar uses 4 Code Fragments at a Furnace. The Progression Key row lists 2 Code Fragments plus an Iron Bar at a Stone Anvil; choose the intended recipe before spending your supply.

Find the named source rather than another ore

Code Fragment is an enemy-sourced material in this reference. Official v0.1.0.2 added a small chance of Runtime Errors in forests and caverns, which provides a recorded encounter route outside simply repeating a boss. The item page also lists the Critical Error Boss; it does not give a guaranteed fragment amount per kill.

Runtime Error is an intentional enemy name in the game's lore, not by itself an application crash. The progression guide explains the separate Runtime Error lore/map-marker clue.

Decide what you need to craft

The key row names an Iron Bar without an explicit multiplier in the captured table. Compare the current recipe's quantity before crafting. This source lists the recipe, not the full set of doors or routes that consume the key.

Use the correct station

1. Check the exact material name and available count.
2. Choose bar production or the key recipe for your current goal.
3. Stand near the named Furnace or Stone Anvil and use the crafting list.
4. If ingredients are stored, check chest access and any nested station requirement.

Do not substitute Memory Fracture

Memory Fracture has different enemy sources and makes Fracture Bars/Access Key. Similar technical names do not mean the materials are interchangeable. Use the Memory Fracture guide for that later recipe and keep the intended key name when asking for route help.
