Delverium Opal: Crystal Cavern Nodes and Opal Bar Recipe

Mine Opal nodes commonly found in the Crystal Cavern, then use 4 Opal at a Silver Furnace to make an Opal Bar. The material entry establishes the location and recipe; it does not give a fixed node coordinate or a minimum pick tier.

Collect and smelt Opal

1. Reach the Crystal Cavern through your world's dungeon route.
2. Inspect the node before mining; the material you need is Opal rather than a coloured crystal.
3. Use a pick and confirm the collected stack name.
4. Bring four Opal into Silver Furnace crafting range and select Opal Bar.

Reserve bars for the intended upgrade

The Quartz Crystal recipe list includes Jeweled Hammer using 4 Hardwood, 4 Opal Bars and 4 Quartz Crystals at an Iron Anvil. That means 16 Opal for its bar component, calculated from the 4-to-1 smelting recipe. The crystal and wood costs remain separate.

If mining or the recipe fails

If a node does not respond, check that you selected a pick and review the tool progression guide; this source does not justify naming a specific guaranteed mining threshold. If the bar does not appear, distinguish a Furnace from the Silver Furnace required by this recipe. Move into station range or carry the ingredients directly to isolate a chest-access problem.
