Delverium Exception Fragments: Fatal Exception and Exception Bars
The community entry names Fatal Exception Boss as an Exception Fragment source and Unhandled Exceptions as an occasional source. Four fragments make an Exception Bar at a Silver Furnace. They are separate from Code Fragments and Memory Fractures.

Target the correct enemy
Choose the Fatal Exception encounter when your objective is Exception Fragments. Unhandled Exceptions are the recorded occasional alternative; "occasionally" does not establish a drop on every kill. If you are finding Code Fragments or Memory Fractures, you are collecting a different crafting input.
Turn fragments into bars
| Input | Output | Station |
|---|---|---|
| 4 Exception Fragments | 1 Exception Bar | Silver Furnace |
Carry at least four or make the correct nearby chest accessible, then choose the bar recipe while within range of the Silver Furnace. The finished equipment may require another workstation; smelting access does not itself grant every gear recipe.
Plan the encounter and return
Use the boss preparation guide to organise food, armour, ammunition or mana before the encounter. Keep the discovered route and host world consistent in co-op. This entry establishes enemy names and material conversion, not the boss's exact HP, summon recipe, attack sequence or a complete universal boss order.
If the objective is reaching another layer rather than farming this material, use the deeper-entrance route instead of repeatedly killing an unrelated enemy.
