Delverium Spirit Essence: Ghost Drops and Spirit Staff Recipe

Spirit Essence occasionally drops from Ghosts and is a Spirit Staff ingredient. The specific staff entry requires 4 Wood, 4 Copper Bars, 2 Glass Bricks and 4 Spirit Essence at a Stone Anvil. Ectoplasm and Soul Essence do not replace it.

Collect the named drop

Target Ghosts and check the collected item name. The source says "occasionally", without a drop percentage, time-of-day rule or fixed number of kills. Ghosts can also supply Ectoplasm; receiving that material does not mean you already have the Spirit Essence used by the staff.

Prepare the complete staff cost

The specific Spirit Staff page includes Wood although the generic essence page's older recipe row omits it. This guide follows the named weapon entry; compare the visible recipe card if your installed build differs.

Finish and test the upgrade

Move into Stone Anvil range with the bars, glass and essence available, then craft the weapon. Magic use consumes mana, so carry a recovery potion rather than judging the new staff solely by its name. For a missing recipe, check the anvil, intermediate Furnace access and exact ingredient names before continuing the same enemy farm.
