Delverium Magic Build: Staff Recipes, Mana and Armour Choices

Start with a craftable staff and a mana-recovery plan. Fireball Staff uses Wood, Glass Bricks and Fire Essence at a Workbench; Gloom and Soul upgrades require enemy essences and better stations. Crystal Armour provides a recorded +40% mana-regeneration set bonus, while Necromancer Armour gives +15% magic damage.

Separate three mana needs

  1. For an empty mana bar, use the recovery potion recipe.
  2. For more permanent capacity, use Mana Tokens found in chests.
  3. For ongoing regeneration, compare equipment and set effects.

Magic attacks consume mana. A high-damage staff can still be a poor practical choice if you cannot sustain its attacks during the encounter.

Choose damage or regeneration

Necromancer Armour's full-set magic-damage bonus and Crystal Armour's mana regeneration solve different constraints. Equip combat pieces in the main slots. Our suggested first test is a short attempt with enough recovery to compare whether mana exhaustion or incoming damage ends the fight; adjust the failed constraint rather than claiming one set is optimal for every staff.
