Delverium Fault Ore: Fault Nodes and Fault Bar Recipe

Fault Ore is mined from Fault Nodes in the Fault Layer. Four ore make one Fault Bar at a Silver Furnace. The bars supply Fault equipment; Code Fragments, Memory Fractures and Exception Fragments are different materials with different sources.

Find the node type

  1. Progress to the Fault Layer using your world's discovered entrances.
  2. Look for Fault Nodes and mine them with a pick.
  3. Check that the resulting stack says Fault Ore.
  4. Use 4 ore near a Silver Furnace to produce a Fault Bar.

The entry does not supply a universal seed coordinate, guaranteed node density or an exact minimum pick. Do not treat a different fragment drop as this mining result.

Budget bars before returning

The Fault Sword entry in the Fault Acid reference needs 6 Fault Bars plus 4 Fault Acid at an Obsidian Anvil. Its bar component therefore needs 24 Fault Ore, calculated from the smelting recipe. A full Fault Armour set uses a separate, much larger bar total; see its material checklist before making several gathering trips.

Separate three blockers

A blocked route is a progression task; a node that will not break is a tool/object task; a missing bar recipe is a station/material task. Diagnose the actual blocker before restarting a world. If you can make a bar but not the finished equipment, check the finished item's anvil and additional drops such as Microchips or Fault Acid.
